SETU was a vibrant international cultural exchange initiative organized between the Rotaract Club of Kandy and the Rotaract Club of K.C. The project was designed to bridge the geographical gap between Sri Lanka and India by celebrating the unique heritages that define both Kandy and Mumbai.The session served as a platform for members to engage in meaningful dialogue, sharing insights into their respective languages, traditional customs, and local landmarks. While the discussions held significant value in creating mutual respect and global citizenship, the atmosphere remained light-hearted and engaging. By blending educational exchange with genuine fellowship, the project successfully strengthened the interpersonal bonds between the two clubs, serving as a vital and enjoyable milestone in their journey toward a formal Twin Club Agreement. The project’s central objective was to to initiate a strong interpersonal connection between the members of the Rotaract Club of Kandy and the Rotaract Club of K.C. College, moving beyond administrative ties to real friendship. To provide a platform for members to exchange authentic insights into the traditions, languages, and daily life of Kandy and Mumbai, thereby promoting global citizenship. To facilitate meaningful discussions on regional similarities and differences in a virtual environment that was both educational and highly engaging. To align the goals of RID 3220 and RID 3141, demonstrating that impactful international service can be achieved through creative digital exchange.
