Pulse was introduced as a new initiative during the RI Year 2025–26 as an interactive icebreaker activity conducted during the general meetings of the Rotaract Club of Kandy. The initiative was designed to createa more engaging, welcoming, and interactive meeting environment while encouraging stronger fellowship and communication among members. As part of the activity, an engaging and fun question was presented during each general meeting, and every participant attending the meeting was encouraged to respond and share their thoughts, experiences, or opinions. These questions ranged from lighthearted and entertaining topics to meaningful and reflective discussions, helping members interact more openly and comfortably with one another. The initiative particularly supported the integration of new members into the club by providing them with an opportunity to actively participate in discussions and become familiar with fellow members in a relaxed and inclusive setting. The project’s central objective was to to create a more interactive and engaging environment during general meetings. To encourage active participation from all meeting attendees. To help members become more comfortable interacting with one another. To support the integration of new members into the club. To strengthen fellowship and communication among members. To improve member retention and meeting participation. To encourage confidence and inclusivity within the club environment. To establish a welcoming and interactive meeting culture within the club.
